CPR (Central Pivot Range) Calculator

Central Pivot Range (CPR) is an intraday trading strategy that identifies a "pivot zone" where price is likely to move between during the trading day.

Components:

• Pivot Point: (H + L + C) / 3 - the base level
• Top Central Pivot (TC): (H + L) / 2
• Bottom Central Pivot (BC): Same as TC
• R1 & S1: First resistance and support
• R2 & S2: Second level resistance and support

Trading CPR:

• When price is between BC and TC, market is in balance
• Break above TC often leads to move towards R1
• Break below BC often leads to move towards S1
• CPR is especially useful for intraday trading in index options
